Over the years, we’ve done everything we can to make CaptainBook a time-saver for your business. And based on the growing number of customers, it seems we’re doing a pretty decent job.
But over the last 6 months, we’ve hit a ceiling. We’ve had larger tour businesses with complex processes that only make sense for them, medium-sized operators needing to connect CaptainBook with their entire stack (sometimes a dozen tools!), and small operators simply wanting to see their customer lifetime value in their CRM.
We’ve seen requests like:
Issuing invoices at the time of booking.
Others wanting to issue invoices at the time of the experience.
How do you serve such different uses of the same functionality? How do you meet such a wide range of needs?
After carefully noting every request (the good, the bad, and the ugly) we sat down and started to think about how we could solve this.
Enter CaptainBook Workflows
Introducing CaptainBook Workflows, the most advanced automation platform in the industry, now available for all extended (and above) CaptainBook subscriptions.
With Workflows, you get access to our intuitive visual canvas and powerful building blocks to automate anything and everything. Build them once, and let them do the work for you.
What Can You Do with Workflows?
From sending a booking anniversary email to a guest after a year to closing availability based on your unique process, you can automate it all.
Here are some examples:
Send your reviews to CaptainBook, analyze sentiment with AI, and issue a discount to unhappy customers.
Automate custom booking follow-ups, send reminders, and update availability based on guest preferences or external tools.
Update pricing based on different signals.
We’ve also baked in webhook triggers so you can start workflows from other systems, and webhook actions to connect to external systems from within a workflow.
Automate the impossible
We’ve also included function calls so you can manipulate data directly in workflows, adding days, computing prices, counting things, averaging, and more. There are almost 50 functions to help you automate the impossible with workflows.
Tell us what you build!
We’re genuinely excited to see what you will build with Workflows. Whether you’re a small operator or a large enterprise, workflows are here to help save time and streamline your processes.
Let us know how much time you save with workflows, we’re sure it’ll be a lot!
